Born and raised in Genoa, Roberto Costa had a very humble upbringing, working as a child in the family-run Trattoria bought by his father in 1990. Since then, there hasn't been a day that Roberto has not spent inside a restaurant chasing his dream and achieving many goals such as being appointed as Genoese ambassador in the World in 2017, as first Genoese Gourmet Ambassador in 2018 and President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in London in 2024.
Owner of 3 restaurants branded Macellaio, thanks to his thirty years of experience in the hospitality industry, he just started a new adventure with his last project called Casacosta, a typical Italian grocery store with only exclusive product browse all over Italy.
